Thorswitch - Glad to see a new visitor :) As you have seen, there is a lot of reading available, LOL. If you want to see how it all unraveled, I would recommend to read Kimkins Exposed from the beginning.

Well, when it comes to medications, most of the common thyroid and diabetes medications (aside from insulin, as far as I can tell, but I just did a rather cursory look,) Wal-Mart has them on their "$4 a month" list, so that might be an option, depending on what she has to take. And most pharmaceutical companies have programs to help people who can't afford their necessary meds to be able to get them at much lower rates - or even free in some cases.

On top of that, IIRC, she's supposed to be on disability benefits, right? Then she should have access to Medicare benefits, which, while they're not the greatest, would at least help some with the cost of the tests and doctor's visits.

But then she wouldn't have much of a reason to gripe about her assets being frozen, huh?

I only first learned about Kimkins et. al. at the end of last week, but I've been reading a lot about it because it's just such a bizarre situation. While I managed to miss this one, I've been suckered before by people who knew how to find and play on a person's vulnerability and convince others that they had all the answers, so I know how easily it can happen. I wish you all the best!

It's really hard to feel sorry for someone who had lied to people, taken their money and given advice that risks their health.
