30 minutes of intense daily exercise required

Breakfast
Up to 2 eggs (cooked without fat)
Up to 1/2 cup List 2 veggies
Up to 2 oz lean ham or other lean protein (raw/cured weight)
Unlimited non-calorie beverage

Lunch
Up to 4 oz lean protein (raw weight)
Up to 2 cups mixed greens + Wishbone Spritzer dressing (or caloric equivalent)
Unlimited non-calorie beverage

Dinner
Up to 4 oz lean protein (raw weight)
Up to 2 cups mixed greens + Wishbone Spritzer dressing (or caloric equivalent)
Unlimited non-calorie beverage

Take a complete multivitamin each day plus other desired supplements

This is the food for one entire day!
Calories: 594
Fat: 26 grams
Carbs: 16 grams
Protein: 74 grams

And split into individual meals:

KIMMER EXPERIMENT (K/E)
K/E is used to reach ketosis quickly or as a jumpstart for other Kimkins Options

As much lean protein as desired from the Kimkins Food List (but remember that serving size is 4 oz, cut to 3 if weight loss is slow!)
Minimal low-carb condiments and spices may be used sparingly
No alcohol, no cheese, no fatty meats, no fats, no veggies
Your appetite will drop naturally after 3-5 days
Take a complete multivitamin each day plus other desired supplements
You may remain on K/E as long as desired

Breakfast, lunch and dinner on one plate:

Total calories for a whole day: 376
(Breakfast is one egg, two egg whites as recommended in the food plans)

I know I at that a less (I don’t do veggies..) while on Kimkins but looking at it now just makes me sick. Puts a whole new light on it when you see pictures of it. Have to admit, the pictures she uses on her site look a lot more appitizing. Thanks for the post.

Hey! You are complaining about my cooking? Just kidding. Kimkins recipes on her blog look great as they are stolen from various places on the internet and don’t show the “no fat” and small portions.

Mariasol — you are a genius. I have never seen such a great way of demonstrating just how crazy this plan is. I blogged about your post, and included the pix — hope that’s okay, I made it clear they are yours and linked them back to your blog. Huzzah for you!

Elle – Of course you can use the pictures in anyway you want! They didn’t come out as bad as I thought – the salad fills up the plate. But salad adds just some 40 cals and you can’t get the nutrionion from the veggies die to the absence of fat.

I don’t think green beans were allowed on the original veggies list. Are those allowed currently? I’d look myself but I’ve been BANNED from the food lists, and everything except visiting the front page.

avenuegirl – I’m not sure as I am also banned from the food lists but it listed 1/2 cup list 2 veggie and I thought green beans were there.

Mariasol, green beans are on list 2. 😉 but you’re just a sissy if you put butter on them. Whip out the I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter spray! Oh wait! It doesn’t say you can have that, does it?

If just one person looks at those photos and decides that this really IS a starvation diet, then it’s worth it, don’t you think?

Now that’s just unfair! You forgot to include the vitamin pill that magically solves all undernutrition.;-) It also fills up an anorexic-trained stomach. Really, you should be more careful. Oh, pardon me – was it hiding under a lettuce leaf? That makes everything OK then. Oh, and about that SNACK listed above as a whole day’s food – too dry to choke down easily. Needs a good dollop of mayonnaise!

Your are right, forgot to show the multi vitamin pill. And you better take it as the body can’t absorb nutrition from veggies in the absence of fat. Probably not from a dry pill either.
I also didn’t show the unlimited diet soda the plan not only allows but encourages.

Excellent visual! What a great way to show what you’re actually eating when following Heidi’s starvation diet. A picture is worth a thousand words (and apparently 600 calories or less).

I agree that the first plate doesn’t look all that bad, for ONE meal. And I think very few people have put everything they eat during one day on the same plate and might be surprised to see how much food it is. I should probably do a 2000 cal plate as comparison.
